Abstract
Forecasting and foresight is a systematic look at the long-term or medium-term future based on scenarios where the path of development is clarified through synergy in drawing desirable and possible futures. Transformations are always going to create challenges that will affect the lives of people living in cities. This can lead to learning at all levels of cities based on present-day teachings. The accelerating pace is enhancing its place in mesh decision-making and policy-making processes It is a factor in governments and organizations. The role of economics and urban management will be crucial in the process of achieving a feasible, desirable, and possible future. Lean urban management in the future and finally some possible challenges for urban planning in the field of urban planning with emphasis on the major cities of Iran have been conducted using descriptive research method and interviewing with one of the senior managers of one of Qazvin municipality organizations. .
