Abstract
One of the problems of the country is the growing trend of social harms and their diversity; A problem whose further increase can affect the reduction of social security and disrupt social order. Since appropriate social policy-making can be effective in this field, the purpose of this study is to examine the country's social policies in six development programs after the Islamic Revolution. The research is a qualitative, applied-developmental and descriptive research that has been done in a documentary and library manner according to its subject and nature. In this study, the content of all general policies announced by the socio-economic and cultural development programs of the country after the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the provisions of the laws of the six development programs have been examined. The issue of social harms is covered more than the rest of the program. The first, second and fifth programs have received the least attention in this area. Low and sometimes inappropriate attention to social harms in the country's macro-policies has caused the country to not be able to take effective measures in a timely manner and using existing capacities to control and reduce social harms. Of course, the sixth plan has provided a good opportunity.
