Abstract
Houses and their design are subject to several factors, the most important of which are materials, climate, economy and culture. Sometimes one of the factors and sometimes a combination of two or more factors play a decisive role in the formation of human societies. Examining the texture of the first villages that emerged from the combination of the above factors, we find that all of them have the body and spirit that govern it. The physical texture of population areas is affected by various natural and climatic, economic and social and cultural factors. This article intends to study the factors affecting the body of prehistoric population centers in Iran, the specific impact of climate on the type of housing as well as architectural features, the impact of livelihood and worldview of the people of the region to study the formation of spaces and the relationship between them. Influenced by the above factors, leads to finding the proportions of architectural spaces. This study, by adopting analytical, interpretive and comparative methods, examines the role of environmental, social and economic variables on the construction of the spatial body of population centers. Answer: 1. How have environmental-natural and economic-subsistence factors affected by the algebra of geography, influenced the formation of the spatial body of population centers? 2. Factors influencing the formation of the spatial body of population centers also affect the relationship between spaces and their proportions in the structure of houses? The results of the research while confirming the effect of the above variables show that the social interactions of people in these population centers are affected by natural conditions on the one hand and are based on economic characteristics and livelihood practices on the other hand and cause cohesion of social and cultural relations. Together, these factors create the homogeneity of the physical fabric that is formed in response to social and cultural, livelihood-economic, climatic and geographical needs and is an indication of an ancient civilization in the past.
